CALLING ALL MEN. Have you got what it takes to fill these shoes?

Edmonton's First Annual Walk A Mile in Her Shoes event combines big hearts with big feet, and brings the whole community together for a great cause. The event premise is simple; men walk a few blocks in women's shoes, raising eyebrows and awareness of YWCA Family Violence Prevention programs.

• 1. SAY YES. Sign up for Walk A Mile in Her Shoes. You can sign up as an individual, or recruit a team to join you – Why go it alone?
• 2. RAISE FUNDS (OPTIONAL) Ask your colleagues, suppliers, your clients - anyone who will give you money to walk around in a snazzy pair of heels. Each registered participant receives their own web page to accept on-line donations and keep track of the funds raised.
• 3. WALK THE WALK. Join other brave 'soles' hoofing it for a great cause. Mark Tuesday, September 14, 11:30 to 1:30 pm in your calendar and join us at Downtown, at Sir Winston Churchill Square. We'll have you safely back in your own shoes and at your office for that afternoon meeting.
