Monetary Giving

If you wish to donate a cash gift to the YWCA Edmonton, you can choose one of the following options:

Credit cards may be used, or the YWCA Edmonton can mail an invoice.

Planned Giving

Planned Giving is a method of contributing that allows you to:

YWCA Edmonton has a wish list of items that are needed at YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Centre. These items will be used to assist camp staff in providing a unique experience for many campers.

Ways to Donate to the YWCA

1. Employee Volunteer Opportunities

A partnership can provide opportunities for your employees who wish to contribute directly to their community through volunteer work. Opportunities include building/renovation projects at YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Centre, Y-Knit, Rainbows, and Elder Peer Support (for volunteers 60+).

2. Employee Giving

Employees can also designate the YWCA Edmonton as their “charity of choice” with a payroll deduction.

3. United Way “Charity of Choice”

Your company may designate the YWCA Edmonton as the “charity of choice” with the United Way.

4. Company Monetary Donations

Your company may choose to donate directly to the YWCA Edmonton and will receive a tax receipt for monetary donations.

5. Campership Fund

Create a company “campership fund” where company/employee donations are designated to provide camp fees for children who would be unable to afford to attend summer camp at YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Centre.

6. Company Fundraising Event

Organize a company fundraising event, such as a golf tournament, BBQ, raffle, etc., and donate the funds raised to the YWCA Edmonton.
